Roadkill Zen Journal (RKzJ)

Roadkill Zen Journal “RKzJ 3.03 Pax Ab Chao: Peace out of Chaos” HERE

Our latest call for work was for flash-fic, free verse poetry, and non-fic essays concerning issues of finding serenity within the avalanche of chaos that is today’s world. The thought prompt was: human continuance amid catastrophe, inner peace vs. outer disorder, creation from destruction.

Future editions: Send us your visions. Our e-journal is based squarely in the Appalachian Mountains, geographically speaking, and though authors need not be native Appalachian, pieces should express an intimate connection with the journal’s overall emphasis on place, geo/physical roots, enviro-spiritual connection. We intend to alchemically celebrate the personalities and opinions of writers of all sorts: poets, essayists, fictionists, factionists, and every other sort of writer along the strewn road of possibility.

Calls for specific theme submissions are occasional, about once a quarter. No previously online or printed published material. Provide e-mail contact information, a short bio if you’re new to RKzJ (about 100 words), AND a brief explanation concerning your opinions on the submission of choice. Also indicate any objections to Roadkill Zen including your work in any future hard print journals. Send submissions only in the body of an e-mail to mountainfocusart@gmail.com
